ADVARIS Smart Factory Software Chosen by Viakable

ADVARIS GmbH, the global leader in wire and cable MES software, and Viakable, the leading quality manufacturer and distributor of wire and cable products in Mexico, are pleased to announce a project placed to implement the full Manufacturing Execution System (MES) at the Monterrey, Mexico plant.

Under the agreement, ADVARIS will supply the MES including product data management (PDM) including cable design, production order management (POM), detailed planning and scheduling (DPS), shop floor control and data collection (SFC) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA). With the completion of this project, Viakable will have moved towards a functioning smart manufacturing facility focused on length-based operations. Viakable is the Cable Division of the XIGNUX group and is a leading quality manufacturer and distributor of wire and cable products in the Americas. For over 60 years, the Viakable companies have consistently provided quality products and services to satisfy the most demanding requirements in the electrical power industry.
